The Next Generation (TNG) was founded in 2022 in response to the growing challenges and untapped potential within the refugee community. Living in a refugee settlement often means facing systemic barriers to education, limited access to basic services, lack of opportunity, and a deep sense of uncertainty about the future. TNG emerged as a beacon of hope—a youth-led, community-driven initiative determined to transform adversity into opportunity. TNG exists to empower the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers within the camp. We believe that despite the hardships of displacement, refugees possess resilience, talents, and dreams that, when nurtured, can lead to meaningful personal and collective transformation.
The Next Generation (TNG) is a youth-led, non-profit organization based in a refugee camp, dedicated to transforming lives through education, empowerment, and community-driven development. We strive to create a future where every young person can thrive regardless of background or status.
